ASMEX signs a partnership agreement with the Congolese Employers

The Moroccan Association of Exporters and the Congolese Patronage UNOC (National Union of Economic Operators of Congo) signed, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the headquarters of ASMEX, a partnership agreement which will serve as a framework for joint actions arising from the various national strategies of the two countries, whether at the economic level or at the level of export offers.

Signed by the presidents of the two organizations, in this case, Hassan Sentissi El Idrissi and Jean Daniel Ovaga, this agreement aims to support the creation of public-private and private-private partnerships by UNOC, via its club of Congo-Morocco and ASMEX affairs, according to a press release from the Association.

Thus, the ASMEX and the UNOC will be led to contractualise, in different forms of framework documents, the cooperation to be implemented, such as application agreements, partnership agreements with Moroccan or Congolese exporting companies.

The two parties will implement joint seminars, forums and meetings for companies from both countries on promising economic collaboration projects in order to create a symbiosis around collaborative and operational reflection to translate the commitments made into the field. .

To direct and implement the commitments of this partnership, a Steering Committee co-chaired by the President of UNOC, Jean Daniel Ovaga, the President of ASMEX, Hassan Sentissi El Idrissi has been appointed. Furthermore, this partnership agreement will follow up on the excellent diplomatic and economic relations that bind Morocco to Congo, which is one of the Kingdom’s privileged partners on the continent.

The commercial exchanges that are currently taking place between the two countries allow for significant room for development, by putting in place the measures and initiatives necessary for the development of this type of South-South cooperation, which is important for the development of Africa and the strategic orientations of the two countries.
