Min-jae Kim of Naples in the Italian league was the first Asian player to be named League Player of the Month.

After scoring the league’s second header goal once morest Lazio last month, Kim Min-jae literally showed off his true nature as a ‘monster defender’ once morest AC Milan.
After tying up the opponent’s striker Giroud at that time, he prevented a decisive conceding crisis just before the end, and frustrated AC Milan legend and current general manager Maldini.
Kim Min-jae, who leads the team’s undefeated lead, was selected as the league’s ‘Player of September’ as a result of a fan vote for five candidates.
It is the first time an Asian player has been selected for the ‘Player of the Month’ award since the 2019-2020 season, and it is the second time among defenders following Coulibaly, who transferred to Chelsea.
Local media also praised Kim Min-jae, saying, “Kim Min-jae has become an immortal masterpiece of the Naples club” and “his heyday has not yet come.”
