The Asan Social Welfare Foundation held the ‘2023 Scholarship Award Ceremony’ at the Asan Institute for Life Sciences in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 23rd and delivered 3.5 billion won in scholarships to 502 students, including 69 graduate students and 433 college students.

63 graduate students in the field of biomedical science (41 in Korea, 22 overseas) and 6 in the field of health and medical policy receive scholarships of 20 to 40 million won and 10 million won, respectively, each year until graduation.

University scholarship students include 17 Narae scholarship students who are on the verge of discontinuing their studies due to economic difficulties, 5 Dasom scholarship students who are devoting themselves to their studies despite physical disabilities, 5 talent sharing scholarship students who share their knowledge and talents with the underprivileged, and 11 outstanding students. name was included. They receive full tuition support until graduation.

The Asan Foundation has been conducting scholarship projects since its establishment in 1977, and has provided a total of 85 billion won in scholarships to 36,000 students so far.
