An explosion accident occurred at a related factory of Asahi Kasei on the 1st.
The damage to buildings caused by the accident has increased further, reaching regarding 70 houses so far.
In the explosion accident that occurred at Asahi Kasei’s group company Kayaku Japan Tokai Factory on the 1st, employee Daichi Kuroki was missing and three employees of affiliated companies were injured.
At the scene, police and fire departments continued to search for the missing person for three days, but Mr. Kuroki has not been found even now.
On the other hand, Asahi Kasei patrols the surrounding houses and confirms the damage status of the buildings, and so far, it has confirmed the damage in regarding 70 buildings including houses and public facilities.
In this house, the residents were busy cleaning up for three days, two days following the outbreak.

Asahi Kasei has decided to arrange a contractor to repair all the damaged buildings, and is discussing with the local mayor whether to hold a briefing session for residents.
