A senior commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said Iran is ready to launch a much larger operation than last week if attacked by Israel, Al Jazeera report.
“If we reach 200 missiles there, we are now ready to land hundreds or thousands of missiles in their occupied territories and attack their security, military and economic centers,” said Ebrahim Jabbari, an adviser to top IRGC commander Hossein Salami, as reported Ahram OnlineWednesday (9/10) local time.
According to Al JazeeraJabbari said that Israel’s geographical size is very small compared to Iran, and therefore Israel must be careful about the consequences of Iranian retaliation. He also said that Tel Aviv’s main ally, the United States, would not dare to engage in war against the ‘Land of the Mullahs’.
“We are a vast country. We have created the ability to attack from any other point in the country if one of our points is hit. But what will they do? “The United States will not dare to go to war with us, but we can quickly control that small area,” said Jabbari. (Ahram Online/B-3)
