As of October, Games with Gold will no longer have Xbox 360 games

Microsoft’s monthly games service leaves many gamers puzzled. The Games with Gold as it is called no longer makes people dream like in the past. Currently, we are entitled to two games from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One generations. However, what had been the norm for a few years will no longer be effective from October. Indeed, Xbox sent a communication by email to the players announcing a change in its program. At the rate of two titles per month, the green brand would have reached the limits of its ability to offer new 360 titles in its service.

Our ability to offer Xbox 360 games in the catalog has reached its limit. However, Games at Gold will continue to deliver exciting Xbox One titles each month with exclusive savings.

An admission that certainly results from problems of exploitation of rights with publishers. From October, therefore, the number of games offered will drop to two with only Xbox One titles. The discounts offered to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will continue to be present. Furthermore, there will be no impact on 360 titles acquired before this date. You will keep them on your Xbox account anyway.
