From what I hear Alphonse’s films are made there: Prithviraj

Alphonse Putra’s Prithviraj film Gold is the most eagerly awaited film by Malayalees. The film was supposed to hit the audiences as an Onam release, but due to technical reasons, the release was delayed.

Prithviraj talks regarding Alphonse’s approach to cinema and regarding Gold. The actor said this in an interview given to Surya TV.

When asked by the presenter what they can say regarding Gold, the star replied that Gold is an Alphonse Putran movie.

‘All that can be said regarding Gold is that it is an Alphonse Putran film. Alphonse’s films have a process, a closed process. Because everything is done by Alphonse.

Alphonse is the writer, Alphonse is the director, Alphonse is the editor, Alphonse is the color correcter. So it is a closed process.

As a producer and an actor in the film, Alphonse is left to do whatever he wants to do with the film.

From what I hear, Alphonse’s films are made at the editing table. Therefore, nothing more can be said,’ says the actor.

Fans are waiting for Gold with high expectations.

The main factor that makes fans wait for the film is the fact that the film is directed by Alphonse following Premam. Gold is also hyped to be Prithviraj and Nayanthara’s first film together.

The movie’s poster and trailer were all taken over by the fans.

Saiju Kurup, Murali Gopi, Esha Talwar, Mallika Sukumaran, Siddique, Lukman Awaran, Shaiju Sridhar and Anna Reggie are playing the other characters.

Meanwhile, Gold received a record distribution rights amount in Tamil Nadu. SS I Productions has acquired the distribution rights of Gold for 1.25 crores. Reportedly, this is a record amount for distribution rights for a Malayalam movie in Tamil Nadu.

The main reason for this is the impact made by the previous release Premam. Premam was popular in Tamil Nadu along with Kerala or even more than Kerala. There were theaters in Chennai where the film ran for 275 days.
