DEPUTY Minister of Youth and Sports (Wamenpora) Taufik Hidayat will focus on improving achievements in the Indonesian sports and youth sector.

Taufik Hidayat was officially appointed by President Prabowo Subianto, Monday (21/10), to accompany the Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, in the Red and White Cabinet, the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka for the 2024-2029 period.

“President Prabowo’s instructions are for Indonesia’s sporting achievements to improve further, like before, I was an Olympic champion and this year’s Olympics we got two golds. Hopefully we can do more than that and we are always reminded that I can work optimally,” said Taufik, as broadcast on the official website of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports. , Monday (21/10).
