AS Académy Féminine (Asaf) players have won their second match of the first edition of the OFC Women’s Champions League. Monday evening, in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, they won 4 goals to 1 against the Fijians of Lasaba Women FC. Next game Thursday.
“The players are very happy with this second victory but they are already mobilized for the rest of the competition. More determined than ever“, comments Coralie Breteigner, the coach of Asaf. Thursday 1is June, the players made a remarkable entrance into the competition by winning against Papuan side Hekari United, who were playing at home.
On Monday night, they beat Fijians Lasaba Women FC 4-1.
