In Colombia there is expectation. The interest and possible signing for Arturo vidalat the hands of América de Cali, is still in the spotlight in the ‘coffee’ country.
This following Tulio Gómez, largest shareholder of the Colombian groupconfirms that they already sent the first formal offer and that the ‘King’ responded – via Felicevich – with a ‘counteroffer’.
“We sent a first offer and the representative answered us,” said Gómez in dialogue with Antena 2, asking the fans that, if the operation is completed “There must be full support, buy the subscription and we hope to sell many original t-shirts”.
Gómez also stressed that due to the Vidal case “We already have a sponsor and we are waiting for another to finalize their arrival”according to ESPN Chile.
Arturo Vidal’s demands
As for what the Chilean soccer player is asking for to stamp his signature, Gómez specified that Chile asked him to raise the price.
“More or less one billion Colombian pesos (approximately 230 million Chilean pesos) would be the monthly value of having Vidal,” he added.
Finally, in a no minor issue, Tulio Gómez stressed that the Chilean team is requesting “a contract for two years.”
