Arturo Reyes, who sounded like a DT option in the Colombian National Team, will direct Barranquilla FC | Colombia selection

When the departure of Reinaldo Rueda from the technical direction of Colombia selectionone of the names that appeared as an alternative was that of Arthur Reyeswho was in charge of the team in 2018, once José Pékerman said goodbye.

Although in a talk with the media, the samarium was pleased to be among the possible candidates, according to the press, he did make it clear that he was analyzing proposals to lead a club, and did not rule out that it be abroad. However, this Thursday his new destination was confirmed: Barranquilla F.C.whom he already oriented between 2013 and 2017 in the B.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the return of Arturo Reyes as Technical Director of Barranquilla FC following 5 years and an important journey as a coach in national teams and in the Junior of Barranquilla”, informed the club that competes in the Promotion Tournament.

Reyes, 53, left the Barranquilla team in 2017 to take charge of the Colombia U-20 National Team and following interning with the senior team in 2018, he assumed the reins of the pre-Olympic team. In 2021 he landed in the Junior, from which he left in December of that same year.
