It almost seems to the attentive observer that one has resigned oneself to the growth of black-blue coalitions in the federal states and remains in the expectation of the same in the federal government.
It is therefore gratifying that the small but fine protest action in the form of a funeral march with the obituary “decency is buried” took place. As mourners, the “grandmas once morest the right” carried the pennant of the upright ones behind the coffin, so to speak.
It is interesting that the many well-known artists who had previously spoken out loudly once morest black and blue stayed away from the protest action. There are several explanations for this. Maybe they are busy with their artistic career. Perhaps they saw the pointlessness of the protest given the prevailing political mood in Austria.
Perhaps they are also planning actions to prevent the feared black-blue coalition following the National Council elections by supporting an opposition party.
But perhaps they have also become calm and quiet because the “Horst-Wessel-Lied” was not sung in all simplicity at the swearing-in ceremony (quote from Markus Hinterhäuser).
