Thousands of people gradually approached the streets of San Juan and Maipú to be part of Roca’s 144th anniversary that will last two nights. You can find shows, gastronomic proposals, exhibitions, games and much more throughout this weekend.

The Arab dancers were in charge of opening the central stage at 4:30 p.m. So until 7:00 p.m. different artists dazzled the place with different dance genres, until it was time for Metatambó. The percussion band captivated the visitors and not only captured their attention, but made them move to the rhythm of the vibration.

Thus, in the midst of improvisations, more and more people came closer to observe his presentation. There were some sitting and others standing, but they all moved some part of their body. The public liked it so much that at the end she asked One more!.

On the other side, on the Rock stage, he appeared Yubes, who in a few days will present a new album through their social networks. Before them came “Steel Blood”, “Not so Holy” and “La Felucho”.

Luciana Dabus, the guitarist of “Steel Blood” said that it was the first time that the band performed on the anniversary. They started recently and with the team little by little they are becoming known in the city. «Before entering she was very nervous. I felt sick to my stomach, but once I met my teammates and stepped onto the stage, it went away. I felt that this was my place“said the music.

In addition, there were more than 120 artisans who offered food, plants, clothes, stickers, games, decorative items, pictures, math, among others. You can find them on Gelonch and Gadano streets.

In front of them there were different food stands, which offered French fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, bondiola sandwiches, pizzas and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Thus the celebration took over the streets of Roca, with neighbors who wait every year for you to attend.

Natalia, Benjamin and Silvia are three friends who attend every year. Florencia is one of the people to carry on «Talita Kum», a venture that bet on baby clothes. “I make clothes for babies and children up to three years old,” she said. Together with her husband, she decided to promote it to have an extra income in the midst of the pandemic.

“I started making clothes for my kids and since I was at home I started making clothes to sell,” she said. The woman personalizes her clothes. She uses mostly cotton, “an ideal fabric for the little ones”.

Urban Cakes It is an enterprise of alfajores carried out by Lucas Ivan. «We have chocolate alfajores with coverage. We make a difference with that. We have a quality product, with a good dulce de leche and within the coverage chocolate we have semi-sweet 70% cocoa, white chocolate with walnuts and 100%. We also have peanuts, coffee and a vegan apple one,” explained the entrepreneur.

They have 20 outlets in the city: in dietetics, Sepia pasta, Multiplicar, wine bars, among others. They also sell through their social networks. “We have packaging for gifts and different presentations,” he pointed out.
