A number of Arab artists celebrated the coronation of the Iraqi football team, with a title Arabian Gulf Cupfollowing its victory on Thursday evening, once morest its Omani counterpart, by three goals to two, in the match that was held at the Basra International Stadium.

The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Heneidy, congratulated the Iraqi team on the victory and wrote on Facebook, commenting on a picture of the team: “A thousand congratulations to Iraq on the Gulf Cup … and a thousand congratulations on the wonderful organization.”
And the Syrian singer Asala wrote, via Twitter: “The Gulf Cup is as if the event is a feast in a wounded homeland, and despite that, they worked the most beautiful and sweet opening and closing with white hearts that were not touched by harm, generosity, morals and nobility, O people of Iraq, you raised the head of the Arabs .. Ahlam performed the song “The Face of Baghdad” from her album “Rizk Al-Ward”, while the engineer sang the national anthem of the State of Iraq.
