Fashion designer Donia Abdel Maboud sparked widespread controversy, during the last few hours, because of her failure to adhere to the Umrah rituals.
Donia Abdel Maboud published pictures of her and her husband, director Magdy El Hawari, while they were in Mecca, through her official Instagram account, and commented: “Praise be to God.”
The public criticized fashion designer Abdel Maboud following publishing pictures of her performing Umrah without adhering to the rituals.
In some pictures, Donia appeared wearing Ihram clothes except with artificial nails and “manicure” and “nail polish.” Some also commented on the “tattoo” of her hand, which made the public criticize her harshly.
The audience’s comments on Donia Abdel Maboud’s photos were as follows: “I don’t understand how to perform Umrah and manicure, haha, and as for what is in your nails, what is this? What are the circumstances of the nail generation in Hajj and prayer, nails and tattoos? She has a manicure and a drawing. Tattoos are necessary.” “Yachal.”
It is worth noting that Magdy Al-Hawari celebrated his marriage to Donia Abdel Maboud in a small ceremony attended by a number of close friends of the newlyweds, in October of this year 2023.
