At least that’s what the company announced last Tuesday, when it launched its “OpenAI Bug Bounty” program, which promises a bounty that can range from US$200 to US$20,000 – that’s nearly $270 to almost $27. $000, depending on the vulnerability of the bug discovered by the user, according to what Archyde.com reported.

Tech companies reportedly regularly use the strategy to encourage programmers and ethical hackers to report flaws in their systems, the news agency said.

The program, however, does not include incorrect or malicious content that would be produced by OpenAI systems, the company said.

The text-generating platform has already been banned in Italy for allegedly violating privacy rules. It has also been scrutinized since it was launched last November.
