Artificial intelligence is everywhere, including in the visualization of living things. Google Deepmind and Isomorphic Labs have just released a research tool for modeling the structures and interactions of proteins, DNA, RNA and other molecules. Called AlphaFold 3, this software promises to simplify the lives of scientists, who can use it to develop new drugs and better understand and protect nature. The University of Portsmouth used it to work on enzymes capable of digesting microplastics.
