The rise in arterial pressure in the winter occurs more and decreases in the summer. What are the reasons behind this process? Is hey dangerous to health?
Causes of high pressure:
1- Attention to this physiological state in response to the change of weather helps us to gradually reduce the dose in summer and gradually raise it in winter for some patients.
2- Patients with borderline pressure tend to need medication in the winter.
3- This rise in the arterial pressure value increases according to the cold weather in the elderly category in a more loud and clear way.
4- This rise in pressure, due to the cold weather, is especially evident in the arterial pressure in the morning.
5- Cardiovascular accidents generally increase more in winter than in summer.
6- In the summer, the incidence of strokes and infarctions increases at night in particular.
7- This change and the rise in pressure and its exit from the control circuit increase the cardiovascular events such as strokes and infarctions with the early morning hours in winter.
Important tips to prevent this condition:
1- Follow-up monitoring of arterial pressure to adjust doses if necessary.
2- Make sure to provide a warm environment, and wear enough clothes when leaving the house.
