Arte’s app now supports iOS 16 live activities. To our knowledge, the software in this category that has adopted this new feature that appeared in iOS 16.1 is not legion.
We were able to test the process during the Football World Cup with the follow-up of the matches in the FotMob app or that of the team. There are also transport or delivery apps that use it.
With Arte’s app, this will be used for certain programs only, debates or concerts for example. We can see what happens tomorrow, February 21, a little before 8:30 p.m., for a rap concert.
If we go to the program page a little early and we put the app in the background, a live activity should start on the locked screen as well as in the Dynamic Island. To be continued…
