On October 20, 2023 at 7 p.m., the trio LUMINA III will give a Alex Reed performance at the Liesing District Museum (Canavesegasse 24) under the motto “Soir d’Automne”. The concert is framed with pictures by the artist Stefania Koliou.

The ensemble founded in Vienna Trio Lumina III has a special line-up for a piano trio: instead of the violin, the flute takes the top voice. Aidana Madyar (Flute), Anastasia Richter (piano) and Hannah Pichler (violoncello) have set themselves the goal of combining the individual timbres of their different instruments in a homogeneous “chamber music” and also of rediscovering and presenting the (partly forgotten) repertoire for this instrumentation.

The “Trio Lumina III” has won several international awards @ zvg: Kaltenecker

All three artists have won multiple prizes in national and international competitions and received the award “Young peace ambassadors“ by Herta Margarete and Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen.

On October 20th they will delight the audience with works by Joseph Haydn, Philippe Gaubert and Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn. Admission is free, a donation is requested.

Art meets classic

The concert will be framed with pictures of the artist Stefania Koliouwhich is the music of Trio Lumina III as her source of inspiration. In her works she combines her two great passions, art and science. For her, music was an “invigorating breath of wind that captured the changing seasons and the calming atmosphere of autumn in her works.”
