The fact, registered in a fund belonging to the employer, destroyed a house, machinery and vehicleswithout registering people injured by the attack.
According to the first information, Hooded and heavily armed subjects came to the place to proceed to burn these structuresespecially the house and then some vehicles.
After this situation, Carabineros has developed a wide deployment in the area, although so far It has not been possible to find the location of the perpetrators of the crime.
This arson attack took place in the midst of the state of constitutional exception that governs the area and at a time when Sutil remains in the United States following testing positive for Covid-19.
CRITICISM FROM THE OPPOSITION
This new act of violence in La Araucanía was lamented by the deputy Gloria Naveillan (Republican Party), who ironically commented on the limited state of emergency measure implemented by the Executive in the area: “So with the wonderful invention of this government… When there is no limited state in law, but invent strange things according to the taste of the Communist Party and the taste of the most extreme“.

The deputy also made a summons to President Gabriel Boric: “He says that in Chile you can invest with peace of mind. I would like you to ask businessmen and entrepreneurs of La Araucanía if they can really invest with peace of mind“, he pointed out.
For its part, its pair RN Jorge Rathgeb also questioned the Executive, warning that “still does not understand that it must protect our farmers with a state of exception that finally it be extended – that it is not limited – that allows protecting all those who produce food, for what food security means for our country”.
