In the application filed in October last year, the preliminary hearing was held in the High Court of Kenya in December, in which the judge rejected the objections to the application by the police and other accused and issued notices to the parties to give detailed answers. .

This year, the second hearing was held on April 30 and the third on May 8. A total of three hearings have been held in this case.
