According to the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Shahbaz Sharif said that ‘Arshad Nadeem became immortal in the history of Pakistan and Olympics by making Olympic records. The whole nation is proud of Arshad Nadeem.

He further said that after many decades, Arshad Nadeem is the Pakistani athlete whose brilliant performance brought glory to the green crescent flag in the Olympics.

‘The credit of this wonderful success goes to the hard work of Arshad Nadeem and his family.’

The Prime Minister further said that ‘Arshad Nadeem’s hard work, dedication and outstanding success is an example for young athletes to emulate’ and ‘proves that if there is true dedication to the goal, success will surely follow.’

On the other hand, Pakistan Armed Forces, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs have also congratulated the nation on Arshad Nadeem’s success.

A statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department (ISPR) said that ‘Arshad Nadeem made history by becoming the first Pakistani athlete to win an individual gold medal.

“This magnificent success for Pakistan in the World Olympics is a testament to Arshad Nadeem’s unwavering dedication, tireless perseverance and exemplary hard work, who is a beacon for the entire nation.”

According to the ISPR: ‘His victory is a magnificent testament to Pakistani talent and determination, showcasing the best of the country on the world stage.’

Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party and Member of National Assembly Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also celebrated Arshad Nadeem’s success and said, ‘You have made us all proud.’

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will also establish Arshad Nadeem Athletics Academy in the city, Mayor Karachi and Pakistan People’s Party leader Murtaza Wahab announced on behalf of the Sindh government a reward of five crore rupees for Arshad Nadeem’s victory. .

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman called Arshad Nadeem’s victory ‘unbelievable’ and said that ‘Arshad Nadeem has done what no one has been able to do in the 118-year history of the Olympics.’

Along with political figures, sports and showbiz celebrities are also celebrating Arshad Nadeem’s success.

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam congratulated Arshad Nadeem on Instagram and said that he has become a source of pride for the entire nation.

Former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram expressed happiness over Arshad Nadeem’s victory and said, “You have made Pakistan proud by ending famine.”

Actress Hira Mani called Arshad Nadeem a ‘hero’ after the victory.

Singer and actor Farhan Saeed also congratulated Arshad Nadeem on his success and expressed his wish that instead of waiting for a miracle like Arshad’s success, there should be a system of producing athletes in Pakistan.
