There was a huge defeat against Chelsea on Tuesday evening.
Two two-goal shooters
Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal the lead in the fourth minute and then both Ben White and Kai Havertz scored twice in the 5-0 victory.
– With the first goal, I was just in the right place at the right time. The second goal was a bad touch that went in,” White told the BBC.
White pays tribute to the other two-goal scorer.
– Fantastic. He deserves it. He has been outstanding since he got here. You don’t realize how good he is until you play with him, White says of Havertz.
Arsenal created more goalscoring chances in addition to their goals and, among other things, won the statistics on shots on goal with 10–1.
– The quick goal helped us and after that we played very well. We created many chances and managed them. It was a fantastic evening, says Leandro Trossard to TNT Sports.
“On the right track”
Four games remain for Arsenal in the Premier League.
– We can only do our job and that is to win matches. We are on the right track and will try to win the rest of the matches, says Trossard.
The victory is Arsenal’s biggest ever against Chelsea. Previously, the biggest was a 5–1 win in 1930.
– We didn’t start the match very well. We conceded a goal and then it was tough to come back, says Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino to TNT Sports.
