Arsenal faced Bournemouth in a warm-up match ahead of the start of the season and after drawing 1-1 in regular time, Mikel Arteta’s team won 5-4 on penalties.

In the match that took place at Dignity Health Sports Park, the Gunners suffered more against a Bournemouth that almost took victory in the 90 minutes.

How were the goals?

Arsenal, who used a line-up with many young players from their youth system, took the lead thanks to a goal scored by Fábio Vieira, who struck the ball with first intention and sent it home in the 18th minute.

For the second half, Arteta sent on some of his stars like Jorginho and Martin Ødegaard, but it ended up being Bournemouth that would score the goal that would send the match to penalties.

The equaliser was scored by Antoine Semenyo, a forward who made a shot inside the area that, fortunately, was deflected by the defence into the back of Karl Hein’s goal.
