Arsenal strengthens the “English lead” with points from the “London Summit”

Arsenal made a great display to win 2-0 once morest Tottenham Hotspur in the London summit, and enhance their lead in the English Premier League, by eight points today, Sunday.
Arsenal pressed offensively from the start and advanced with two goals in the first half, by mistake goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in his own net, following an attempt by Bukayo Saka, and a wonderful shot from Martin Odegaard.
And Tottenham appeared much less than Arsenal, who is in a state of brilliance with coach Mikel Arteta, and succeeded in compensating for his loss in the hospitality of Tottenham in the same stadium, in a result that cost him to finish the season in the golden square.
Arsenal dominated the first half, and successfully withstood some attempts by Tottenham in the second half to come up with the three points.
There were some opportunities for striker Harry Kane, who needed one goal to equal Jimmy Greaves, the historic scorer for Tottenham, but goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale starred and prevented him from scoring.
Arsenal now have 47 points from 18 games, eight points ahead of defending champions Manchester City, while Newcastle United, who played one more match, and Manchester United are one more point behind.
Tottenham comes fifth with 33 points from 19 games.
