The ARS reveals the results of operation H’Ment Fiers. The creation of a urology sector at the GHT Hôpitaux de Provence, the mobile surgical team for stabilization of severe trauma patients at the GHT du Var and the “skin to skin” project of the childcare department of the GHT de Vaucluse are among the six winners chosen by the competition jury. Likewise, the implementation of tele-stroke by GHT Provence, Algo Var, as well as Critical Care Pathway in Vaucluse are among the six special mentions crowned by the jury. Finally, the director of ARS Paca’s favorite goes to the Vaucluse reception project for caring for women and children victims of violence, Maison Mazarine.

H’Ment Fiers is a talent competition run by ARS Paca to “highlight the great initiatives” of public health establishments. All public hospital service agents, whatever their profession at the hospital, who are developing an inter-establishment team project were able to submit an application until October 15. Meeting on November 22, the jury made up of medical professors and hospital directors deliberated to elect six winners and award six special mentions to these teams. In the rankings: the territorial quality team of the Alpes de Haute-Provence created in 2019, the land-to-plate project in the Alpes-du-Sud which offers short-circuit food supply and the provision of a garden therapeutic, the South-East inter-intensive care network in the Alpes Maritimes, patient care between several establishments within a urology sector from emergency to scheduled operation of the GHT hospitals of Provence, Emoctase, the partnership civil and military which reduces treatment times for severe trauma patients in the Var and “from well-being to birth” for the GHT Vaucluse.

A communications kit

Each of the winners will be given a “personalized communication kit: promotional video, posters, kakemonos, media coverage” during an evening in 2024, specifies ARS Paca.

“The current difficulties encountered in hospitals motivate us to promote collective successes,” considers ARS Paca. Yes, hospital workers can be proud of their dedication. Particularly in a period dominated by a public hospital crisis. Recruitment difficulties due to the profession’s lack of attractiveness, bed cuts, lack of resources in all services, closures of local services and hospitals… Successive governments have been working for years to meticulously dismantle the public health service, this balm for the heart intended to “change the image of hospitals” seems a very pale remedy.
