Commonwealth of Nations Secretary General Patricia Scotland on Sunday Pakistan reached Islamabad on a five-day visit.
According to Radio Pakistan, Additional Foreign Secretary for Europe Shafqat Ali Khan received them at the airport.
According to the report, during the visit, the Commonwealth Secretary General will hold meetings with Pakistan’s government leadership, cabinet members, youth leaders, civil society representatives and other stakeholders.
During her visit, Patricia will also discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and the Commonwealth in areas of mutual interest.
The Commonwealth Secretary-General will reiterate her solidarity with Pakistan on the two-year anniversary of the devastating 2022 floods that submerged a third of the country and caused more than $30 billion in damage.
