According to the official data, the number of tourists who came to Thailand from January 1 to April 14 was 1 crore 723 thousand 973. With the arrival of these tourists, the national treasury of Thailand increased by 518 baht or 13 billion 50 million dollars.
Among those who came to Thailand in just three and a half months, there are 2 million tourists from China, 1.3 million 90 thousand from Malaysia, 6 million 95 thousand from Russia, 6 million 19 thousand from South Korea and 5 million 47 thousand from India.
Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, Sudawan Wangsuphakjkosol, says that during April 8 to 14, 735,000 tourists came to Thailand, an average of 150,000 tourists. 618 thousand tourists came from it last week.
