Arrests Made in Winston-Salem Gas Station Robbery: Latest Details and Updates

Winston-Salem.- Two men were arrested early Thursday morning, June 22, on suspicion of a robbery at a gas station in Winston-Salem.

The events occurred around 4:00 am, when the Police responded to a report of armed robbery.

The call came from a Speedway gas station located at 2026 South Hawthorne Road, across from Novant Health Forsyth Hospital.

According to the police report, two armed subjects entered the establishment demanding money and cigarettes, and then fled the place aboard a silver sedan with damage to the rear.

The Winston-Salem Police Department located the vehicle minutes later on South Martin L. King Jr. Drive, a 10-minute drive from the gas station.

After the vehicle was identified, the Police ordered it to stop, however the car did not stop and a pursuit began.

The vehicle was finally stopped on Konnoak Drive, south of the city, with the use of braking techniques implemented by the Police.

The two suspects were taken into custody following being arrested, although one had to be taken to hospital for minor injuries.

The Police explained that the suspects were not identified because the investigations into the events continue.

For this reason, the authorities indicated that they receive information related to the events on the telephone 336-728-3904with attention in Spanish.
