A suspect was apprehended on Sunday in Rixensart, in possession of several thousand euros and narcotics, we learned Monday from the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office. A warrant of arrest has been requested against him.
The patrollers of the Mazerine police zone observed, around 5 p.m. on Sunday in Rixensart, that a motorist had failed to activate his indicator when he was turning left.
When they checked the offender to remind him of the road traffic rules, the officers found that the individual was in possession of a sum of money estimated at some 12,000 euros and 13 pellets of cocaine.

Suspected of drug trafficking, the young man born in 2001 and domiciled in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert was immediately deprived of his freedom.
An investigating judge has been seized of the case. The prosecution requested the issuance of an arrest warrant against the young suspect.
