Mysuru: The Srirangapatnam police have arrested the accused suitors in the case of the discovery of the headless bodies of two women. Arakere in Mandya, K on 7th June. The dead bodies were found at Betanahalli.
T., a native of Kudur in Ramanagara. Siddalingappa (35) and his girlfriend Chandrakala were arrested. Siddalingappa is a worker in a construction company in Penia, Bengaluru. They were nabbed from Dabaspet in Tumakuru during an investigation following the mobile phone location. Sex workers Siddhamma from Chamarajanagar and Parvathi from Chitradurga were killed. Both were close to Chandrakala.
Here’s what the police say regarding the incident; Until a few years ago, Chandrakala was working as a sex worker. The intention of the accused was to kill all the women who pushed Chandrakala into sex. On June 5, Chandrakala summoned Siddhamma and Parvathi to their rented house in Metagalli, Mysuru. The next night, Chandrakala and Siddalingappa suffocate both of them and then head off. Later, the headless bodies were taken away on bikes and left. He went to Adugodi in Bengaluru and killed a woman named Kumuda in a similar manner. After stealing gold ornaments, he came to Tumakuru and rented a house. The accused had prepared a list of five other women to be killed in a similar manner, said I.G. Praveen Madhukar Pawar said. The accused were nabbed following an investigation conducted by nine special teams under the Srirangapatna police sub-division.
