A 30-year-old woman was arrested Sunday night by police in Pinellas County, Florida, following a call for domestic violence.

Officers attended the home in St. Petersburg, where they apprehended Karleen Jame Biswanger. The 39-year-old was later charged with assaulting a person aged 65 and over, the site reports. Law&Crime.
She would have launched a lawyer as well as “other objects” in the direction of the 68-year-old man with whom she has been living for a year. A neighbor would have witnessed the scene, according to the police officers involved.
“The defendant dispatched a lawyer in the face of the victim, causing an injury to his right eye, the affidavit states. The accused also threw a metal suspension rod at the victim, causing injuries to his upper right arm and forearm.”
After being read his rights, Biswanger denied hitting his partner directly in the face.
The accused has a long list of antecedents, including several in terms of assault with unusual objects.
always according to Law&Crimeshe was charged with allegedly attacking her father with a “9-inch cardboard box full of writing implements at her father, striking him in the upper right chest”.
In 2015, Biswanger was also charged with assault for repeatedly punching her boyfriend in the face while she was intoxicated, cutting him in the left eye, according to an affidavit.
The charges were dropped at the request of the victim.
She served 120 days in jail in 2019 following pleading guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance.
