Chinchu stayed in lodges in different parts of the city for the last two days in hiding. Six months ago, Chinchu started living in the flat in Vazhakala. 750 grams of MDMA and 56 grams of hashish oil kept for sale were found in the flat. It is said that the drugs were brought from Delhi. It was confirmed that the toy gun was pointed at the excise officials but no knife was found. He was earlier arrested by Chalakudy Excise for possessing one and a half kilo of hashish oil. After being released on bail in this case, he once more entered into drug trade.
