Arrested 27-year-old suspected of killing a man on a motorcycle in “driving” Osaka | NHK

On the 28th, a 27-year-old driver was arrested for repeatedly driving in Sakai City, Osaka, causing a passenger car to collide with a motorcycle and killing the other man. He is denying the charges.

The person arrested was Riku Kawashima, a 27-year-old care worker in Minami-ku, Sakai City.

According to police, at around 6:30 pm on the 28th, on a prefectural road in Kamotanidai, Minami-ku, Sakai City, a nearby office worker, Asahi Kitajima (28), collided with a motorcycle he was driving and killed him. There is a suspicion of murder as a result.

At the time of the collision, Mr. Kitajima fell and was taken to the hospital but died.

Police initially arrested him on the spot on suspicion of negligent driving injury, but when he examined sightings and footage of a drive recorder of a car running nearby, Kawashima’s passenger car suddenly changed lanes. It turned out that there was a suspicion that he had interrupted in front of the bike.

In addition, from regarding 4 km in front of the site, there was an image that seems to have been driving in a tilted manner, approaching or pulling the motorcycle from behind.

In response to the police investigation, Kawashima said, “I have no murderous intentions. I am aware that I was hit,” and denied the charges.
