Arrest warrant issued for attempted murder against Da Costa

The Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP) issued an arrest warrant against two activists from the Vente Venezuela party for attempted murder of opposition deputy Inacio Da Costa.

This was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, on his account on the social network X, where he specified that the measure is against the leaders Anthony Vega, Jhon Álvarez and Eleyn Echarry.

For the crimes of Aggravated Homicide in the degree of attempted murder, personal injuries and ganging against Inacio Da Costa and Adrianlis Gil.

He explained that statements from eyewitnesses “proved the involvement of the subjects under investigation in the crime.”

“He is indeed an ex-convict who has been convicted of crimes of vehicle theft, illegal possession of a firearm and injuries,” Saab added.

According to reports, political leaders attacked deputy Inacio Da Costa on the night of July 19, 2024 in the UCV parking lot.

The injuries were caused by bottles, “with which they tried to kill him,” the criminal investigation revealed.
