Arrest Made in Violent Home-jacking: Updates on the Case and Suspects

The alleged perpetrator of a violent home-jacking carried out Wednesday evening in Céroux-Mousty, in the entity of Ottignies/Louvain-la-Neuve, was reportedly arrested Thursday morning in France, we learned Thursday from the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office.

Three hooded and armed perpetrators broke into a wealthy home in Céroux-Mousty on Wednesday evening around 11 p.m., with the intention of stealing three Lamborghini cars.

The thugs physically attacked the couple occupying the premises. The woman was locked in the toilet while the man was tied up with plastic zip ties.

Once the residents were neutralized, the suspects left the scene aboard luxury vehicles which were located in the north of France, in the Lille region.

One of the suspects was reportedly apprehended Thursday morning by French police services. If it turns out that he participated in the home-jacking committed Wednesday evening in Céroux-Mousty, he might quickly be transferred to Belgium to be questioned.
