On the 19th, a man who attacked passengers with a metal key chain inside a subway train in Seoul was arrested by the police. According to the police account, a man in his 50s stabbed two male passengers in the face with a metal keychain on a train going from Hongik University Station to Hapjeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 at 12:40 noon that day. It is said that Mr. A suddenly attacked the surroundings with a ‘multi-tool’, a key chain with a flat and sharp tool attached. After receiving a report that “there is a grandfather with a knife,” the police arrested A on charges of special injury and confiscated the key chain he was holding. One victim was taken to the hospital and returned home following receiving treatment, while the other was treated at the scene and returned home.
