The Monts d’Arrée listening to the song of the world
From July 21 to 24, 2022, the Relec Abbey and its partners are organizing the 15th edition of the Arrée Voce festival in the heart of the Arrée mountains.
What a beautiful setting is the abbey of Relec in the Monts d’Arrée to host the Arrée Voce festival and hear the beating of the heart of the world.
Like every year, this event, which celebrates its fifteenth edition, invites you to discover the diversity of sung traditions from all over the world.
The 2022 program promises great discoveries with in particular Sopa de Pedra (Portuguese polyphonies), the Basque voices and strings Habia, the gypsy flavor and the rhythmic power of Titi Robin & Roberto Saadna, the griot songs of the artist Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko (Senegal) and the shamanic music of Olena Uutai (Siberia). Breton artists are also honored with Marthe Vassallo and Nolùen Le Buhé, Youenn Lange, Elouan Le Sauze & company.
Four beautiful days in a friendly atmosphere to enjoy concerts in exceptional places, sung meals, a show for families, a sung hike in the early morning and discovery workshops. This event is also the link to the territory since three other heritage sites participate in the festival: the church of Saint-Rivoal, the domain of Menez-Meur and the Penanault house in Morlaix. It is designed in partnership with the Ecomuseum of the Monts d’Arrée, the Regional Natural Park of Armorique, Morlaix Community, the DROM and O’Belle associations, and supported by the Brittany Region.
