Presented by the house 22, the Buzz’art 2023 will take place from May 8 to 11
Buzz’art 2023: day and night!
On the theme of “day and night”, it is around the works of Franco Pedone, Italian artist who left us in 2022, that Buzz’art 2023 will revolve. Carried away by cancer, his work is imbued with the antagonisms inherent in life, those opposites tightly bound as are the light and the shadow attached to them, as are the inevitable reunions and partings between friends, or the enchanting beginning and the heartbreaking end of a story of love, birth and death, the two inexorably united poles of the cycle of life. These often inseparable opposites, which cannot exist without each other, opposites which must often be accepted as a Whole, as day and night are part of a daily cycle.
Realizing and accepting these interdependent antinomies allows us to move forward, to achieve more serenity.
It is on this theme of opposition that the Geneva Buzz’art calls on artists who wish to express themselves during these four days. They can present their works in pictorial or sculptural form, or through dance, theater or other performances and mediums of expression of their choice.
Artists whose application is accepted will be able to participate in round tables, discussions and workshops organized during these 4 days rich in events of all kinds. Rejoice!
