Successful series of events organized by AK Niederösterreich and ÖGB

St. Polten (OTS) In bright sunshine, AK and ÖGB Niederösterreich welcomed around 2,100 visitors to the family festival in the Waldviertel in Schrems on Saturday, August 12th. A diverse leisure and event program guarantees an eventful day for the whole family.

“We are where the people are. AK and ÖGB move Lower Austria – we don’t just say that, we also do it. With our festivals for families, we have created a great series of events. We are showing that we are a reliable and competent partner for families in the world of work and leisure time alike,” says AK Lower Austria President and ÖGB Lower Austria Chairman Markus Wieser, the host, about the crowds of visitors at the family festival in the Waldviertel. Around 2,100 guests of all ages were welcomed to the event on Saturday at the ASV Eaton Schrems sports field.

Games, fun and information for young and old

Over 20 play and fun stations on the kidsMANIA smiley tour provided lots of fun for the little ones. There was a lot of action at the Punch and Judy show, the climbing tower and the ASV Eaton Schrems youth football tournament. All large visitors also had the opportunity to get an overview of the services offered and thus their commitment to Lower Austrian employees at the numerous information stands of AK Niederösterreich, trade unions and partners. As part of a large competition, AK Lower Austria President and ÖGB Lower Austria Chairman Markus Wieser presented attractive prizes to children and parents.
