With around 20,000 items on offer, the children’s goods bazaar in the Gasthof Danzer in Aspach is one of the largest in the region. The income from the bazaar, which is also increased through the sale of cakes, drinks, bread and coffee, is donated to social projects in the region or in Africa by the Aspach Mothers’ Group, which organizes the bazaar.

On Friday, September 1st, the bazaar starts from 5 to 7 p.m. with an additional shopping opportunity for pregnant women and parents with children up to the age of one year, so that shopping can take place in a relaxed atmosphere.

From 7 to 9.30 p.m. the popular late-night shopping will take place again, before there will still be the opportunity to purchase one or the other bargain from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 2nd.

As every year, the place of sale is the Gasthof Danzer. Articles related to babies, children and pregnancy are sold, such as functioning toys, well-preserved autumn and winter clothing for babies, children and young people, maternity clothing, baby monitors, nursing pillows, bed linen, mud suits, but also festive clothing, costumes for carnival, Children’s and young people’s books, bicycles, prams, skis and shoes or child seats. The bazaar is organized by the Aspach mothers’ group.

“We require our vendors to only offer merchandise for sale that is in good condition. That means games must be complete, clothing must be spotless, and not have holes or missing buttons. We also make sure that there are no old-fashioned merchandise or promotional items are offered for sale,” says Karin Gaisbauer, who is in charge of the organization of the bazaar.
