On the occasion of the grand finale of Top Chef, Louise and Arnaud, the last two candidates in the running, were opposed in a large-scale event. The two cordons bleus had to cook a starter, a main course and a dessert for 80 people.
And the challenge of the match did not make the Belgian candidate lose his head. Indeed, during the service of the main course, Arnaud and his team were perfectly on time to send all the plates on time.
But in Louise’s brigade, the same might not be said. The finalist was overwhelmed.
Arnaud then asked his team to slow down and went to help Louise. “You are someone I appreciate to death so I helped you,” he whispered in his ear following the service.
A gesture of great class, which he is far from regretting. “Louise had never done this exercise. You have to know how to help each other,” he told us.
