Arnaud, the Belgian from Top Chef, unexpected CRUSH from the 4 members of the jury: even his team leader can’t believe it (video)

The Top Chef final is fast approaching and those who qualified this week will be among the show’s quarter-finalists.

To access it, the candidates competed in two tests. The first was a challenge launched by Jean Imbert and allowed Louise to qualify.

For the second, the 4 jurors asked the candidates to sublimate the tomato, coached by other chefs who have intervened this season. Chef Dominique Crenn guided Arnaud Delvenne and it paid off: his “not simple tomato” was designated “favorite of the 4 members of the jury”.

When the verdict was announced, the jury, who tasted the dishes blind, discovered that this winning dish was the work of Arnaud, the Belgian in the competition who therefore qualified for the quarter-finals of Top Chief. Glenn Viel, Arnaud’s squad leader, finds it hard to believe: “But no?! Incredible!”

“It’s nice! What else? Super happy, super proud, it’s a nice surprise, frankly, congratulations. No, but seriously, the dish was built, there was a path, it was legible, it was clean”he comments, visibly happy and proud of his candidate.

For Arnaud too, the joy and the surprise are total: “To pass a test while shining in the eyes of the 4 chefs, it’s super beautiful. A crush on a heart of tomato!”he says in an interview.

“I listened to my boss today. I really wanted to give a lot, so I put a lot of pressure on myself, thank you very much. We will keep the same pressure and we will try to really reach into the heart and into the memories”says the Belgian once more with the magnificent course in the show.
