Through a decree read on the evening of this Thursday, September 07, 2023 on national television, the president of the transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, has appointed several army officers to high positions.
These are :
1 Colonel Ibrahima Sadjo Diallo Matricule 25277G previously commander of the Kounara infantry battalion is appointed secretary general of the general staff of the armies.
2 Colonel Ibrahima Bangoura, registration number 18264G, previously director of the Maneyah military administration school, is appointed commander of the Maneyah military schools, replacing Colonel Mohamed Ali Traoré who has been placed at the disposal of the general staff of the army.
3 Colonel Louis Camara Matricule 21864G previously director of studies at the Guinean staff school, is appointed director of the said school.
4 Colonel Éric François Lamah number 18176G, previously intendant of the second military region of Labé, is appointed director of the national school of military administration of Maneyah.
5 Colonel Sena Camara number 14207G, previously Secretary General of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, is appointed Commander of the Koundara Infantry Battalion
6 Colonel N’fanmara Oularé registration number 18108G, previously director of the Guinean staff school, is appointed commander of the said Macenta infantry battalion to replace Colonel Hamidou Soumah made available to the General Staff of the Armed Forces .
7 Colonel Mohamed Ferna number 23321G, previously in service at the general direction of military stewardship, is appointed steward of the second military region of Labé
8 Lieutenant colonel moussa Soumah number 24 814G, previously acting chief of staff of the expanded joint command post, is appointed director of the national school for active duty non-commissioned officers of the Maneyah.
9 Commander Ahmed Sylla number 19673G, previously director of the national school for active non-commissioned officers in Maneyah, is appointed deputy commander of the Macenta infantry battalion, replacing Colonel Jean Lansana Traoré made available to the general staff army general.
