He is the swanky preacher of the USA: Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead (44) prefers to wear Louis Vuitton, Gucci and diamond jewelry. His Rolls Royce has bright orange leather seats and has 1.6 million followers on Instagram.
Now the preacher of the extra class was robbed – in the middle of the service!
Three gunmen stormed the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries church in Brooklyn on Sunday. The bishop was just preaching regarding keeping the faith in the face of great adversity when guns were pointed at him and his wife, Asia K. DosReis-Whitehead.
The gangsters wanted the couple’s bling! “All right, all right,” said Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead, hiding behind a gold-colored lectern — handing out the diamonds.
Miller-Whitehead said in an Instagram video that the robbers tore off his collar to get at his necklace and held a gun in his young daughter’s face while they stole his wife’s jewelry. According to police, no one was injured in the robbery.
On Monday, the bling-bling bishop offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the robbers’ arrest. The New York City Police Department is investigating the case.
Miller-Whitehead founded Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in 2013 following serving a five-year sentence on identity theft and grand larceny charges. Miller-Whitehead claims he was wrongly convicted.
Incidentally, the clergyman justifies his swanky lifestyle as follows: “I will live my life the way God intended it for me.”
