The Bulgari jewelry store had already been the subject of an armed robbery in September 2021, the damage of which was estimated at 10 million euros. Among the team of robbers, one had been injured in the leg by a policeman. Arrested, he was charged and imprisoned. In June 2022, two other suspects were arrested and charged. They are also in pre-trial detention.
