The media office of Al-Ghobeiry Municipality issued a statement saying: “Before midnight yesterday, an armed clash took place in the Al-Mushrafieh area within Al-Ghobeiry, in which light and medium weapons were used. The bullets hit the surrounding buildings and houses. The actors are known by name and address, and it seems that this series will continue and will have episodes and will not end.” Unless there are innocent victims.”
He added, “Yesterday, the security forces were upset regarding the municipality’s statement regarding the events of Saturday, July 15, 2023 in Ghobeiry, and did not move a finger. Today, we also accuse them of failing to arrest all the perpetrators and bring them to justice.”
And the statement continued, “Tomorrow, we will also do our duty to file a case with the Appeal Public Prosecution in Mount Lebanon. Is it not time for the citizen to rest safely in his home? A question drawn by all officials.”
