An armed bank robbery took place in Pargolovo in the Vyborg district of St. Petersburg. This criminal story is reported by the portal “Concrete.ru».
According to the portal, a man in black burst into the Sberbank office on Merkuryeva Street. He approached the employee and, threatening her with a pistol, demanded money. The man took the woman to the cash desk, where she gave him cash – 500 thousand rubles, 880 euros and 10 US dollars.
Five hours later he was detained in his hometown of Lakhdenpokhya. 424,650 rubles, 880 euros, 10 dollars, as well as an air pistol and a rubber mask were confiscated from him. The operatives also took away his mobile phone, backpack and clothes he wore when he broke into the bank.
It turned out that the robber had escaped from the psychiatric hospital the day before. He himself is a resident of Karelia. He had previously been convicted of possession of drugs and cultivation of drug-containing plants, as well as possession of weapons and ammunition.
According to investigators, in the five hours that the man was being searched for, he spent 75,000 rubles from the stolen money.
