HQ A week ago we got the first screenshots from Ark: Survival Ascended, which is a bit strange considering it was supposed to be released this month and both the screenshots and the trailer were supposed to be shown so long ago. While the October release window is quickly closing, we’ve now got the first demo of the game, shown during an Xbox Partner Preview event. As it turns out, it’ll be releasing as an Early Access/Game Preview game for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X – where it’ll make its anticipated October release… today. Judging from the video, this is quite an upgrade over the original game, with the trailer showcasing some new technologies like Lumen and Nanite, which provide the game with more realistic and beautiful lighting, vegetation, and water. Studio Wildcard also revealed that remastered versions of the maps “Scorched Earth” and “Island” will be released in December. Check out the very nice trailer below. HQ
